Denka Company Limited manufactures and sells organic and inorganic materials in Japan and internationally. The company's Elastomers & Performance Plastics division offers synthetic rubber, styrene-based synthetic resins, styrene monomer, chloroprene rubber, polystyrene resin, ABS resin, CLEAREN, heat-resistant resin, transparent resin, POVAL, acetyl chemicals, and other products. Its Infrastructure & Social Solutions division provides cement, special cement additives, fertilizers, calcium carbide, alumina fiber, fire resistant and environmental materials, and underground drainpipes and irrigation system-related products. The company's Electronics & Innovative Products division offers ceramics, inorganic fillers, resin sheets and films, electronic circuit substrates, adhesives, fused silica, electron guns for electron microscopes, acetylene black and other products. Its Living & Environment Products division provides rain gutters and other construction materials, food packaging materials, industrial tapes, synthetic fiber for wigs and hairpieces, and other products. The company's Life Innovation division offers influenza vaccines; bacteria, latex immunoserologica, and virus diagnostic reagents; reagents for HDL and LDL cholesterol products; macromolecular sodium hyaluronate; and skin care products. Denka Company Limited offers its products for automobiles, electric and electronic devices, aircraft and spacecraft, rolling stocks, marine vessels, the environment and energy, communication, power, civil engineering, construction, agriculture, iron-making, ceramics, transmission belts, adhesives, home appliances, office equipment, food packaging materials, household goods for daily use, medical and nursing care, logistics, etc. The company was formerly known as Denki Kagaku Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha and changed its name to Denka Company Limited in October 2015. Denka Company Limited was incorporated in 1915 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
